Sander joined Woods Fuller law firm in August of 2017, and has been a shareholder since 2023. Sander’s practice focuses primarily on business and corporate transactions, assisting clients with legal matters such as:
Guiding individuals in the selection of an appropriate business entity and the formation of their partnership, company, or corporation;
Advising clients on operational aspects of their businesses, including risk management, contract drafting, and ownership changes;
Protecting individuals and entities as they buy, sell, lease, or leverage real property;
Rehabilitating corporate recordkeeping practices and establishing healthy operational corporate practices in order to avoid disputes and protect clients;
Facilitating personal and commercial finance and lending transactions, ranging in scale from thousands of dollars to hundreds of millions; and
Assisting clients with mergers and acquisitions for businesses of all sizes.
In his free time, Sander enjoys spending time with his wife, Kim, their son, and dogs. Transplants to the region, they enjoy exploring the city and South Dakota at large. When not at the office, he can often be found in downtown Sioux Falls or in one of the City’s tremendous parks.
Community Involvement
CURRENT:
Board Member, Habitat for Humanity
“The chance to support our community, both through pro bono legal services and by volunteering our time with charitable organizations, churches, and other worthwhile causes, is both a responsibility and an opportunity for personal growth. Sioux Falls has always been and continues to be, graced by an extraordinarily proactive and involved business community. I hope that Woods Fuller continues this legacy and maintains a reputation of not simply being a good business partner, but a great community partner.”
