EXPERIENCE:

Justin Bergeson is originally from Hartford, SD, and joined Woods Fuller in 2021. He is a Sioux Falls lawyer that practices primarily in general civil litigation as well as commercial litigation. Justin’s expertise allows for him to offer assistance with laws surrounding breach of contract and much more.

While in law school, Justin Bergeson earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Torts and the McGrath North Excellence in Legal Writing Award. Additionally, Justin co-led the Tenants’ Assistance Project as part of his work in the Civil Clinical Law Program and served as a member of the Nebraska College of Law Moot Court Board. Prior to law school, Justin earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Black Hills State University.

Outside of work, Justin enjoys spending time with his wife, Jacqueline, and their dogs.
